I’m not sure WTF happened to DMX but this joint was my shit back in ‘98. From his second album Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood.

Bonus FBF Video: Mase ft. DMX, Black Rob & the Lox - 24 Hours To Live

I hope Game doesn’t off himself. I kinda like his music.

During “My Favs Week,” I hit ya’ll with my Fav Songs of the Moment but since my favorite joints change like a fresh pair of drawz (unless you’re on of them nuccas that don’t change your drawz), I decided to hit ya’ll with a weekly look at the songs I’ve had on repeat. So, this week Kidz In The Hall dropped their sophomore album The In Crowd (which I actually need to go purchase this weekend) and I’ve been bumping this track like crazy. You all can drop your favs in the comment section, too. I’d like to know what my readers are listening to but here are my picks:

1) Kidz In The Hall ft. Skyzoo & Lil Eddie - Let Your Hair Down (Listen Here)

2) Young Jeezy ft. Kanye West - Put On (Listen Here)

3) T.I. - No Matter What (Listen Here)

4) Lil Boosie - Let Me Ease Your Mind (Listen Here)

5) N.E.R.D. - Everybody Nose (See Video Here)

6) Lil Wayne ft. Kanye West - Lollipop (Remix) (Listen Here)

7) The Dream - Nikki (Listen Here)

8 ) Justin Nozuka - After Tonight (See Video Here)

9) Jadakiss ft. Crooked I & Big Lou - From Now Til Then (Remix) (Listen Here)

10) Yung Berg ft. Casha - The Business (Listen Here)

Well, those are mine. What are yours?

I caught this video over at the evil empire xxlmag.com and thought you Weezy fans would love it. Personally, I became a fan of Lil Wayne back in ‘97 when he had that solo track called “Block Burner” on the first Hot Boyz album Get It How You Live! I liked the fella back then but he really stepped his rhymes up when Gillie started writing for him he dropped this track. But still, I never thought he’d get to the level he’s at now.

The Carter 3 in stores June 10th (if it doesn’t get pushed back again, which it probably will. Wait, doesn’t Plies drop his album on that day too. Maybe they should do a Lil Wayne vs. Plies thing, a la Curtis vs. Kanye. Ummmmm…on second thought, maybe not).

I don’t think people in West Virginia download R.E.’s Playlist.

Yung LA ft. Young Dro & T.I. - Ain’t I (Remix)
Raekwon ft. Ghostface - Necro

Yung Berg ft. Casha - The Business

No words.

Update: I stand corrected. The gayest cover next to this one, of course. My bad. Props to eskay for bringing that to my attention.

I promise I’m not gonna run this Shawty Lo vs. T.I. thing into the ground. But I am taking bets on Shawty Lo ending up like Lil Flip.
